Dating/Relationships

Sell Yourself

Your next match could be your best match, and you only have a small window on a date to communicate who you are. It is important to highlight your best qualities in a way that turns your date on and not off. Before your date, take some time to really think about what it is you want this person to know about you. This only gets more difficult if you are suddenly with someone that you like.

Don’t be nervous. You can make each moment count simply by sharing commonalities. Tell him/her a story that helps connect the two of you. By doing so, you’ll have the opportunity to move the ball forward in your blossoming relationship. Shared values and experiences build bonds that last a lifetime, and definitely help place the odds in your favor for a second date.

I am very familiar with this process, as I witness it every day with my clients. So think of your stories, share a piece of yourself, connect, make each moment count and stay on target.
