A Good Date

A winning strategy for a good date is to go into it with a sense of optimism. Expect that you’re going to have fun and your energy and smile will be infectious. Don’t weigh the date down with unreasonable expectations. Going into a date worrying about whether or not they will be “the one”, puts too much pressure on you and on your date. Not to mention, your nerves will likely reflect on your face and in your attitude.

Instead think, “I’m really just gonna have fun tonight meeting someone new” and then do just that…HAVE FUN! It’s so important that you believe that you hold the power to have fun on any date.

Here are some fun tips that I give my clients and that you can do right away:

Working for some of the most eligible bachelors in the world, I know that men need to feel comfortable and relaxed in order to move forward towards a relationship. Start by creating an interesting conversation and ask intriguing questions. Let him know that you are willing to answer questions that he may be afraid -at first -to ask, but remember to stay away from deeply personal information early on. Asking questions outside your immediate comfort box will allow a unique opportunity to break down the barriers that commonly stand between two people on a first date. You want to stay open without being too much of an ‘open book’, always keeping in mind that a little mystery goes a long way.
